About Us

We are Kyle & Emily, and together with our sons, Aidan, Alec, and Ashton, and our border collie, Elwood, we are avid travelers in search of another amazing adventure (hey, that’s a good name!!).

Our adventures began in 2014 when our boys were still very young and we took our first “family vacation” to South Dakota to visit friends and see Mt. Rushmore in our minivan. A few years after that, the boys joined the local scouting troop, and camping became a regular event for our family – so much so that we purchased a couple of tents specifically for those outings. 

After the pandemic hit in 2020, we realized that, in order to continue traveling we would need something a little more self-contained, so we decided to purchase a pop-up camper and proceeded to take it all over our home state of Ohio, as well as through Kentucky, Indiana, and even on a trip to Myrtle Beach (side note – don’t take a pop-up to Myrtle Beach in August unless you have AC – we did not!).

Also thanks to the pandemic, our planned trip to Disney World that summer was scrapped. Rather than let our plane tickets go to waste, we decided change our flight from Orlando to Phoenix and rented a class C bunkhouse to take through Arizona and Utah.

The following year, after enjoying that particular trip (and having AC and our own bathroom!), we realized that the pop-up just wasn’t going to work, especially with our boys growing like weeds. The decision was made to upgrade to a travel trailer, and we landed on the Cherokee Wolf Pup 16BHS. We also decided to start documenting our travels, both for our own family purposes and possibly for others to enjoy.

Since then, we’ve taken our Wolf Pup all over the country. We’ve been to numerous states and locations (some more than once!), including Glacier National Park, Yellowstone, Mackinac Island, Niagara Falls, Gulf Shores, the Rocky Mountains, and much more. We even made it to Disney World finally in 2022, staying at Fort Wilderness!
