Who We Are

We are Emily & Kyle (in order pictured!), and together with our teenage boys, we travel the country, looking for interesting, unusual, or downright weird locations to visit and document it for our various channels.

While we enjoy visiting a lot of the places that most everyone is familiar with (like national parks, major cities, and tourist destinations), what we REALLY love exploring are the unique roadside attractions, movie and film locations, and other oddities that make up Smalltown USA - the kinds of "off-the-beaten path" spots that others might drive right past without even realizing it.

  • Kyle and Aidan went to @homedepot yesterday to get some bags of mulch, and BOTH came home each with their own @kingofthehill can of @wd40brand 😲 You have to admit, they know their audience! 😂

  • Today was a special day - a “family reunion” of sorts for dogs and their families who came through @clancys.dream Border Collie Rescue (Bowie being one of them). This is Bowie getting to see Teresa, his foster mom who cared for him prior to his coming home with us. I’d say they were quite excited to see each other again! ❤️☺️

  • A little mishap resulted in a “clean slate,” so to speak, so now we must ask… BEARD or NO BEARD??
  • “Happiness is being married to your best friend.” ❤️ June 8th is National Best Friends day. We’ve been best friends for almost two decades and have shared countless adventures together, with many more on the horizon. “You’re my bread when I’m hungry You’re my shelter from troubled wind You’re my anchor in life’s ocean But most of all, you’re my best friend”
